Nordic Flight Training is offering this type rating course for the SAAB 2000.
The ground training is located at Ängelholm-Helsingborg Airport and the simulator training is located at Oxford Aviation Academy, Stockholm.
Pre-entry requirements
1. Have at least 100 hours as pilot-in-command of aeroplanes.
2. Have a valid multi-engine instrument rating.
3. Hold a certificate of satisfactory completion of multi-crew co-operation (MCC). If you do not fulfil this requirement the MCC course can be integrated in the type rating course.

Course description
The type rating course is divided into three different phases:
Phase 1 Theoretical training
1. Technical Type rating course Computer Based Training during
10 working days.
2. Performance/Mass & Balance/ Flight Planning Classroom training
during 3 working days.
This phase ends up with written examinations in each subject.
If MCC training is to be integrated in the type rating course, two additional days of theoretical training will be included.
Phase 2 Synthetic Flight Training
Practical training for 40 hours in synthetic training devices of which 32 hours will be done in a Full Flight Simulator. The simulator training includes training for Category II operations.
The first 8 hours will be done in a Cockpit Procedure Trainer or a Fixed Base Simulator.
During this phase an emergency training will take place as well. The emergency training consists of a classroom training phase and training in mockup or aircraft.
This phase ends with a skill test of 2 hours in the Full Flight Simulator.
Phase 3 Aircraft Training
Finally you have to do 4 to 6 (depending on your experience) landings in an aircraft. This is done by one of our partners Golden Air
